Community Guidelines
Good company starts with how we treat each other.
Last updated ·
Be yourself. Be honest.
Snow Buddies is for adults 18 and older. Use your own identity and photos, describe your experience honestly, and keep plans accurate. Do not impersonate someone, create misleading profiles, or pretend to represent a resort or ski patrol.
Respect people and boundaries
No harassment, threats, hate speech, bullying, stalking, or discrimination. Do not send unwanted sexual content or pressure someone to meet, share contact details, or ride terrain they are uncomfortable with. A declined invitation or a block is a boundary, not an invitation to try another account.
Protect privacy
Do not post someone’s personal details, private messages, precise location, or photos without permission. Do not use the map to track or follow someone. Keep sensitive information out of your public profile.
Keep plans clear and considerate
Agree on the meeting point, timing, riding level, and expectations before meeting. Tell your group when plans change. Respect different abilities, give people room to opt out, and never pressure others to ignore closures or take unnecessary risks.
No scams, spam, or exploitation
Do not use Snow Buddies for scams, fake offers, unsolicited advertising, illegal activity, or sexual exploitation. Never ask for another person’s sign-in codes or credentials. Share only content you have the right to share.
Follow mountain rules
Follow resort signage, closures, patrol instructions, and local rules. Respect staff, wildlife, and the environment. Read our Safety tips before heading out with someone new.
Report problems and use blocking
Report a concerning profile, ride, or message through its in-app menu. Block someone when you do not want further interaction. We may remove content or restrict accounts after review. For account help or to question a moderation decision, visit Support. In an emergency, contact ski patrol or local emergency services directly.
